Shipping Policy

We proudly ship worldwide

Standard processing time is between 2 to 5 business days, Monday through Friday 10 am to 4 pm Eastern Standard Time.
We do not process on the weekends or holidays. Processing times are NOT included in the delivery time. Please plan accordingly. If additional information is needed to verify the billing or shipping details of your order, your shipping can be delayed until the information has been verified.  
We strive for 100% accuracy and satisfaction with each order, all orders are double-checked for accuracy, quality and perfection before it is shipped out. however, shipping delays due to inclement weather, holidays, natural disasters, courier delays, or errors may occur.
We highly recommend you allow 2-3 weeks before hair appointments, travel plans, and special occasions in the event we have to resolve a concern or complete an exchange request.

Shipping Information


Address: A tracking number will be sent via email or WhatsApp once the package has been shipped.. please double check the delivery address.
Afro Hair Bar is not responsible for lost packages due to the incorrect address entered at checkout. The customer is responsible for ensuring all shipping information is correct upon checkout. To reconfirm your address, please cross-reference your order confirmation email. Once your package has shipped, we can not update the address.
Any shipping charges incurred from an incorrect address will be paid by the customer. 
if any mistake with the address, you must contact us within 2 business days from your order date and we will be happy to adjust the address Signature:All packages require a signature for delivery if your order contains hair extensions. If you are not available to sign for your package, please contact the shipping company directly to reschedule the delivery or arrange a pickup. 

Abandoned or refused packages will not be refunded.  If you have concerns regarding the status of your package, please send an email to customercare@afrohairbar.com within 10 days of your ship date. 

Return to Sender:

If a package is returned to sender for any reason, the customer will be responsible for all new shipping charges unless there was an error made on our behalf. All packages returned to the sender will automatically be issued a store credit minus the cost of shipping to the email address used to place the order. 
Canada Post and USPS will hold a package at your local post office for up to 15 days before returning it to the sender. DHL UPS, FedEx will hold a package at a local center for up to 5 business days before returning it to the sender.  

Although there are rarely any customs or duty fees associated with a purchase from AHB, if there are, it is not associated with Afrocentric Hair Bar Packages that are refused for any reason will be issued a store credit minus the cost of shipping. Refusing a package will not result in a refund.

 

Domestic Shipping

ALL HAIR EXTENSION ORDERS REQUIRE A SIGNATURE FOR DELIVERY.  Afro Hair Bar is not responsible for shipping delays or errors caused by inclement weather, holidays, natural disasters, or courier delays, or if your package is lost, stolen, or damaged.
We highly recommend customers allow ample time before hair appointments, travel plans, and special occasions for unplanned delays.  To protect your order from shipping errors, we recommend purchasing Route Package Protection at checkout. 
Although we are not responsible for courier delays we will assist each customer within reason. If there are any delays with your USPS, CANADA POST OR FEDEX package, we are unable to file any claims until the package has been in transit for at least 15 business days or in transit with FedEx for at least 5 business days. For assistance with a delayed package, please contact us at customercare@afrohairbar.com

All shipments to united states and canada will be carried out from warehouse in calgary

International Shipping

ALL INTERNATIONAL ORDERS ARE SUBJECT TO LOCAL DUTIES/TAXES BEFORE DELIVERY. THIS COST IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE COST OF SHIPPING.

Customs policies and procedures vary per country. We will not mark packages as ‘gifts’ on customs forms. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay any customs fees or duties required to receive your package.
Please check with your country’s trade regulations before placing your order. Refused packages will not be refunded.
